Information about Online Srimad Bhagwat Katha Saptah

Srimad Bhagwat Purana is one of the most sacred text of Hinduism and relates to a Hindu Tradition that worships Lord Vishnu and is known as Vaishnavism. It is one of the Hinduism's 18 great puranas and it discusses a wide range of topics and is regarded as essence of all Vedas and Upnishads. Srimad Bhagwat Purana was composed in Sanskrit and it was dedicated to Lord Krishna as an incarnation of Vishnu. Srimad Bhagwat Purana asserts that the inner nature and outer form of Lord Krishna is similar to the Vedas and is capable of rescuing the world from forces of evil.

There are 18000 verses in Srimad Bhagwat Purana and it was first revealed to King Parikshit by son of Sri Ved Vyas. It is said that the Srimad Bhagwatam is the very essence of all the Vedanta literature. One who has enjoyed the nectar of its rasa never has any desire for anything else.

Importance of Srimad Bhagwat Katha Saptah

This is a recitation of 18000 verses of Srimad Bhagwat Katha in 7 days for getting the blessings of Lord Krishna. It is said to bless the devotees with a pure soul and peaceful heart as well as a Long Life. The devotee is said to get rid of miseries of life and various kinds of Bandhan by blessings of Lord Krishna and is supposed to be a fortunate one for attaining Moksha as per ancient vedic literature.

Swasti Vachan, Shanti Path, Sankalp, Ganesh Sthapna, Kalash Sthapan, Lord Krishna Sthapan, Navgrah Sthapan, Brahma Sthapan, Agni Sthapan, Invocation of all Gods and Goddesses, Navgrah Mantra Japa (1 mala for each planet), Srimad Bhagwat Purana Recitation followed by Homam on the final day with Honey, Ghee, Sugar, Til, Ashtagandh, Sandalwood powder, Navgrah Samidha and then Purnahuti, Aarti, Prasad to Brahmins

Thereafter, the prasadam will be given to the brahmin who have taken sankalp on your part so that the prasadam is virtually delivered to you. He will then take care of each and every item of the prasadam in a ritualistic way as mentioned in Vedic Texts, so that in fact you will get even better results of the puja as compared to prasadam being physically delivered to you wherein at times you cannot take proper care of it.
