Narayan Kavach is a very effective recitation dedicated to Lord Vishnu for protection of mind and body from all types of fears and losses, and it also helps for gaining victory over Enemies. A person who recites Narayan Kavach is always protected from any kind of mis happenings and harms. It is believed that the soul of the worshipper becomes extremely holy and each and every part of his body is protected by Lord Vishnu himself.
As per the epic, King Parikshit, who was son of Abhimanyu requested Sage Shukadev to provide him some kind of protection against the Enemies, after which Sage Shukadev narrated him about the importance and merits of Narayan Kavacham, which was originally taught by Sage Vishwarupa to Lord Indra. Lord Indra was able to get victory over fierce demons and regain his lost Kingdom with the help of recitation of Narayan Kavacham. Narayan Kavach bestows special blessings of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi ji to the worshipper, thereby showering all kinds of Abundance, Protection from Enemies, as well as Victory over all kinds of Advarsaries.

Swasti Vachan, Shanti Path, Sankalp, Ganesh Sthapan, Kalash Sthapan, Lord Vishnu Sthapan, Lakshmi Sthapan, Navgrah Sthapan, Brahma Sthapan, Agni Sthapan, Invocation of all Gods and Goddesses, Navgrah Mantra Japa (1 mala for each planet), Narayan Kavach Path Recitation, Vishnu Mantra for 1100 times, Vishnu Yantra Puja, Lord Vishnu Puja, Homam with Honey, Ghee, Sugar, Til, Ashtagandh, Sandalwood powder, Navgrah Samidha and then Purnahuti, Aarti and Prasad to Brahmin
